About the position
This position supports the University’s student experience, offering a dynamic opportunity to contribute to positive outcomes across the student lifecycle from enrolment to graduation. As part of the Academic Services team, the incumbent will support essential student administration activities, contributing to a consistent approach to customer service delivery and the accurate application of transactional activities and associated procedures.
The incumbent will be well suited to a role that offers variety, collaboration, and problem‑solving within a fast‑paced and engaging environment. They will work across a broad range of student administration functions, managing high‑volume and complex workflows, building strong relationships with the academic community, and applying a positive, solution‑orientated approach in all areas of work.
The role offers scope to develop a stronger focus in examination delivery, student fees or timetable scheduling, while continuing to contribute across other aspects of the student lifecycle.
Infrequent inter‑campus travel may be required.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have:
- Demonstrated depth or breadth of expertise developed through extensive relevant experience and application.
- Demonstrated ability to gain a conceptual understanding of relevant policies, procedures or systems and interpretation in the application of policy and/or precedent.
- Demonstrated capacity to organise work effectively and efficiently and deliver outputs in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, follow established procedures with limited supervision and contribute positively to an effective team.
- High level proficiency in computer software packages including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, electronic mail, and the use of the internet as a research tool.
