The Opportunity
We have a great opportunity for a Regional Engineer to join our team based in Dandenong or Laverton, or Campbellfield. Reporting to the Regional Engineering and Projects Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects and maintaining systems and equipment to ensure reliable operations, safety, and compliance with regulations across a specified region. This is a vital dual role that ensures operational efficiency, minimises downtime, and supports Cleanaway’s strategic objectives.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing and resolving faults or failures to minimise disruptions
- Developing and implementing plans relating to asset lifecycle, investment and risk management
- Ensuring project delivery safely, within quality, schedule and cost parameters
- Project reporting, documentation and governance
- Guiding operational teams on use, maintenance and safety practices for operational systems and equipment
About You
You have a technical and curious mindset and enjoy solving problems within a collaborative team. Your ability to ask the tough questions and your critical thinking will ensure your success in the role. Furthermore, you will also possess.
- A Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, with a background in instrumentation
- Hands-on experience in planning, executing and managing industrial projects and maintenance
- Experience in preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance for systems and equipment
- Familiarity with troubleshooting and resolving complex asset issues in an industrial setting
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and highly skilled in risk management and problem-solving
- Excellent analytical testing and troubleshooting skills with a deep understanding of engineering and project management principles
- Familiarity with Management of Change (MOC), Pre-Start-Up-Safety-Review (PSSR), HAZOP and HAZID
