The Opportunity
Based in Welland, SA, the Logistics Manager is responsible for leading, directing, and managing all bulk haul services to our Collections and Post Collections operational sites and ensuring maximisation of internalisation opportunities to maximise productivity and profitability. Key responsibilities include;
- Identify and develop route plans to support overall customer demands on our collections and post collections facilities
- Manage and optimise fleet and procurement requirements in accordance with DALs and in line with budget and operational requirements
- Develop and implement a ‘fit for purpose’ operating model for logistics requirements
- Manage labour costs through workforce planning by optimisation scheduling, shift, overtime and sub-contractor utilization
About You
Our ideal candidate will have a transport and logistics background with proven experience in leading and managing people, markets, and assets, with a focus on optimisation of human resources and fleet.
- Solid financial and analytics capability, including commercial application
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and licensing requirements relevant to operational scope
- Experience in lean logistics management is beneficial
