The College IT Support Technician I provides service to faculty, staff, and students utilizing college computer systems. Performs basic on-site troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance involving computer hardware and software. Resolves issues over the phone, email, or walk-ins. Monitors requests through completion and performs all related communication with customers. Coordinates outside vendors for installation and maintenance of multimedia equipment as needed. May provide guidance and/or supervision to student IT technical workers. May provide on-site support for server issues in the event of service outages.

Performs complex and non-routine administrative tasks. Acts as liaison of the executive and their office. Drafts and sends communications on executive’s behalf. Manages the office of the executive to include supervision of office staff. Oversees maintenance of all files, records, and reports. Oversee and works on special projects.

The Student Services Program Manager oversees the academic advising function for a small college. Provides student record oversight, degree auditing, registration assistance, and catalog preparation for the college. Identifies and implements best practices in academic advising. Develops, coordinates, facilitates, and integrates outcome driven efforts in academic advising that support student success, retention, and graduation completion. May handle a student academic advising case load.

Library - Associate Dean for Research and User Services – Tenure/Tenure Track - 526787
The University of Alabama seeks an experienced strategic thinker to join the University Libraries administrative team. The candidate will report to the Dean of University Libraries and will be a critical member of the University Libraries Executive Committee. The ideal candidate will be an innovative leader with a sense of evolving trends in research libraries, particularly in instruction, library liaison programs, access services, media production, outreach efforts, and user services in general. Developing opportunities to create and promote student success and support faculty teaching and research are vital components of this position’s leadership portfolio. The Associate Dean for Research and User Services will work closely with librarians to facilitate a shared vision and commitment to the strategic plan for the University Libraries and The University of Alabama. The Associate Dean for Research and User Services will lead and coordinate programmatic services for undergraduate and graduate education, instruction, and research support. This position will work collaboratively with librarians and stakeholders across the institution to address and support scholarship, research, and teaching needs while advancing the University Libraries Strategic Plan.
Roofer II - 526573
The Roofer II performs skilled work at the journeyman level in the installation, maintenance, and repair of roofs of various types. Locates and repairs leaks. Repairs or installs roofs on new or old structures. May train and provide work leadership to entry level roofers. Drives from site to site.

The Mason II performs skilled work at the journeyman level in the Masonry trade. Lays brick or blocks in the construction or repair of buildings interior and exteriors. Mixes and/or supervises the mixing of mortar and concrete and pouring and finishing concrete slabs, walks, or structures. May train and supervise entry level Masons. Must drive from site to site.
