This solicitation is for candidates applying at the Associate or Full Professor rank. The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong commitment to the growth, development, and improvement of the legal writing program. The duties of a Legal Writing professor include teaching two sections in the first-year legal writing program and developing an upper-level writing or drafting course. If a candidate is appointed to serve as Director of Alabama Law's Legal Writing Program and/or Director of the Moot Court Program, they may have a reduced teaching load and additional responsibilities as assigned.
