Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm


Job Summary: The Graduate Case Team Specialist leads and oversees the day-to-day operations of the graduate student case team. Plans and executes the competition schedule for each academic year, including traveling with the team and supervising the student participants. Prepare, coach, teach, and mentor the competition students for each case. Markets the program effectively to students, parents, alumni, and employers. Plans and delivers other experiential learning programs to achieve desired professional development, personal development, career and experience readiness, and other student learning goals. Develops and maintains budgets and prepares annual budget and spending report.


Additional Department Summary: Oversees and implements experiential learning programs crucial for student success at the Culverhouse College of Business. Collaborates with external partners, alumni and Culverhouse faculty/staff to deliver comprehensive programs that enhance students' ability to apply what they’re learning academically and make a smooth transition to their careers.


Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience; OR master's degree or higher and some experience.


Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.


Skills and Knowledge: Highly organized self-starter. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Creative and critical thinking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of budgeting and management reporting. Ability to create and execute on long-term strategies and objectives. Ability to multitask. High quality presentation skills. Ability to supervise and coordinate with others to achieve goals. Proficiency with Microsoft suite of Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Knowledge of or ability to learn in experiential learning pedagogy and academic coaching techniques.


Preferred Qualifications: Masters of Business Administration or Education. Two (2) years of experience in banking, consulting, or other industry that requires multi-stakeholder engagement. Experience teaching business strategy and/or communication in a university setting.
