Job Description:

The Lastinger Center for Learning is looking for a part-time OPS team member to support our
Organizational and Associate Development team. This individual will assist as needed on various
projects throughout the Center. This is a time-limited, as-needed position.

Specific Responsibilities:

Workshop and Event Support

  • Assist with the setup, logistics, and delivery of training workshops and events to include
    preparing handouts, securing materials, setting up rooms or virtual platforms, checking
    in participants, and sharing evaluations to ensure a smooth and professional participant
    experience.
  • Get a behind-the-scenes look at how we plan and run large-scale internal professional
    learning events.

Learning Material Preparation 

  • Assist in formatting and editing presentation slides, handouts, and other resources used
    in learning sessions.
  • Support the development of simple visual aids, learning guides, and documents under
    the direction of full-time staff.
  • Learn what makes training materials truly effective and how to communicate in a clear,
    professional way.

Basic Information Gathering and Data Support

  • Contribute to learning and development initiatives by collecting relevant information,
    organizing materials, and compiling responses from surveys or feedback forms.
  • Assist in summarizing data to support the development of internal reports.
  • Support the review of associate feedback while gaining foundational experience in
    gathering and analyzing qualitative information.

Administrative and Office Support

  • Help with routine office duties such as filing, scheduling, emailing, or updating
    participant registration lists.
  • Maintain digital folders, update website links on documents, monitor shared inboxes,
    and assist in tracking event attendance or document versions.
  • Play a real part in building a new team's foundation by helping create the systems that
    organize our work.
Expected Salary:

$14.00 hourly
