| The Student Engagement team within the Division of Student Life at the University of Florida consists of the Offices of Campus Engagement, Community & Belonging, Sorority & Fraternity Life, Student Legal Services, and Administrative Services. The Office of Community & Belonging mission is to foster connection, leadership, and resilience with students and student organizations through advising, intentional programming, and collaborative engagement. It serves as the hub for student leaders, student organizations, campus events, and a variety of programs and spaces that help students find and build community.
The Program Coordinator described is primarily responsible for advising, guiding, and providing administrative support for registered student organizations within the university community, including event registration, permitting and approval process. This role ensures all registered student organization (RSO) event permit submissions are reviewed thoroughly, consistently, and in alignment with university policies and procedures.
Working Title: Permit Coordinator
- Monday through Friday, 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM
- Frequent after-hours, evening, and some weekend time commitments to assure the goals and objectives of the department and division are achieved
This position reports to the Assistant Director of the Office of Community & Belonging. |
