This is a highly responsible and visible position within the Dean’s Office in the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering and will serve as the primary receptionist and provide administrative support to the Dean’s Executive Assistant. As a representative of the university and the Office of the Dean, the incumbent will answer the phone and acknowledge all visitors to the Dean's suite in a professional and friendly manner and provide assistance. The individual is expected to review the calendars of the Dean and Associate Deans on a daily basis to be informed of activities and provide the level of support and direction required in the overall mission of the Dean’s Office. The incumbent must work as a member of a team with other Dean’s Office staff. The incumbent will report directly to the Dean’s Executive Assistant. Time away from work will be coordinated with the Dean’s Executive Assistant and other Administrative Assistants to ensure coverage of the office.
