Simulation Operation Technician Calabasas Campus
Pepperdine University’s College of Health Science (PCHS) in collaboration with its School of Nursing (SON) is seeking a qualified and motivated Simulation Operation Technician to provide support for all nursing simulation operations and work closely with the PCHS Simulation Center team to ensure best practices in healthcare simulation are used to enhance student learning. The technician will provide essential technical and audio/visual support for healthcare simulation operations and technology, including preparation, maintenance, and repair of simulation mannequins and all simulation center equipment, develop and program simulation scenarios using vendor-provided software under the direction of nursing faculty, and operate data and multimedia capture systems. The technician will report to the Director of Simulation and Skills Education. The technician’s primary responsibilities are directed to the SON, and the position requires close collaboration with the Dean of the SON and all nursing faculty. The technician will also be expected to work collaboratively with the director and other PCHS healthcare programs to support their simulation and skills education needs.
Tutoring and Academic Support Coordinator Malibu Campus
Under the general supervision of the Director of Student Success, this position implements best practices in tutoring across Seaver College and advancing services that promote student success, retention, and graduation. These objectives are achieved by developing new initiatives or enhancing existing programs in support of improving student academic preparedness, enhancing systemic support for underrepresented student populations, and providing professional development in learning strategies. The role includes supervising a staff of approximately 60-70 part-time student employees and coordinating the SSC Proctoring Service.
