Position Summary:

The College of Engineering is seeking dynamic students to work part-time to assist various faculty members with course related support duties such as grading, lab support, etc. The successful candidates will work collaboratively and independently at times with a variety of responsibilities depending on current need. The successful candidates will need to display professionalism and confidentiality of student information throughout the entirety of the assignment. The position is up to 20-hours per week during the fall and spring semesters and pays $12.52 per hour. These positions are hired on an as needed basis.

Minimum Qualifications:

Successfully completed course they are supporting with a grade of C or better.

To be eligible for student employment at UAA, each applicant must:
A. Be enrolled in the UA system with a minimum of six credit hours in the current semester of employment; or
B. For employment between semesters, have successfully completed six or more UA credit hours in the preceding semester and demonstrate plans to enroll for six or more credit hours in the next semester; and
C. Have at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average.

Will need to successfully complete FERPA and Title IX training.

Position Details:

This is a Student Assistant 2 position. Pay is $12.52/hour.
