Job description:

Join a dedicated team at the Beaconsfield District Health Service as a Multiskilled Domestic, where you’ll play an essential role in creating a safe, clean and welcoming environment for patients, residents and staff.

Beaconsfield District Health Service

  • We are located in the historic town of Beaconsfield, a scenic 45-minute drive from Launceston.  National Parks, beaches and historical sites are all within a short drive from town.  
  • You'll find, Beaconsfield District Health Service is known for its welcoming environment, with strong teamwork and positive attitudes.
  • Beaconsfield District Health Hotel Services staff (MSDA's) closely provide services to a complex patient cohort, respite clients, aged care residents, and emergency presentations and sub-acute clients.

The Role

  • Cleans allocated areas of the hospital, in accordance with infection control standards, polices and processes.
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of meals to clients in accordance with food safety legislation and guidelines in Tasmania.
  • Provides an in-house laundry service in compliance with established guidelines

Details of appointment:

Fixed term, casual, position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 24 months. 

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $57130 to $62,486 pro rata per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
