GVSU Libraries are seeking a Temporary Library Support Staff. This individual will work collaboratively to support library operations and customer service.
In addition to regularly scheduled shifts (approx. 15 hours/week), this position is also on call for all hours of operation and library locations in Allendale and downtown Grand Rapids. This is a part-time position that is not eligible for benefits.
NOTE: GVSU students who are enrolled in 6+ credits are not eligible for this position. That classifies them as a student employee, and they must be hired through Student Employment. |
Science Instructor - Annis Water Resources Institute (Temporary Hourly)

The Annis Water Resource Institute (AWRI) seeks passionate and energetic environmental educators to engage students in hands-on, place-based learning experiences onboard its research vessels and in its indoor/outdoor classroom programming. Instructors are assigned to either the W. G. Jackson (docks in Muskegon), the D. J. Angus (docks in Grand Haven), the AWRI classroom, or may serve in a combination of roles. AWRI anticipates hiring multiple instructors for the 2023 outreach season. These positions report to AWRI’s Education Specialist. |

Temporary part-time Lead Captain will crew the University’s passenger vessel W.G. Jackson located in Muskegon, MI. Work hours will vary depending on the vessel's operational schedule and preventative maintenance schedule. The vessel season runs 1 April -31 Oct. The vessel operates approx. 350 underway hrs. per season. |
