Bowling Club Head Coach - Recreation and Wellness Allendale
The Head Coach is responsible for the supervision, planning, and organization of all practices as well as providing mentorship of student-athletes. The Head Coach is expected to travel to all home and away competitions. This position will work closely with the team’s Executive Board members and Recreation & Wellness personnel. This position is part-time with an annual stipend of $2,500, with transportation and lodging for away events provided by the team. The team season is typically September through February. The GVSU Bowling Club is dedicated to providing an opportunity to excel in the sport of bowling within a safe and educational environment, with a focus on competing within the USBC’s Intercollegiate Team Championships and regional collegiate events. This position is part time and not eligible for benefits.
Women’s Ice Hockey Club Head Coach - Recreation and Wellness Allendale
Grand Valley State University Women’s Ice Hockey is seeking qualified candidates for their head coach position. The Head Coach is responsible for the supervision, planning, and organization of all practices, execution of in-game leadership and strategy, as well as providing mentorship of student-athletes. The Head Coach is expected to travel to all home and away competitions. This position will work closely with the team’s Executive Board members and Recreation & Wellness personnel. This position is part-time with an annual stipend of $10,000, with transportation and lodging for away events provided by the team. The season is September-March, with practices typically Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Competitions are typically on the weekend. The GVSU Women’s Ice Hockey program is a member of American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division 1 and the Central Collegiate Women’s Hockey Association (CCWHA). The club has 6 National Tournament appearances since they were founded in 2007. The program has also won the CCWHA playoffs in 2016 and finished as runner-up at the National Tournament in the same year. They are dedicated to providing an opportunity to excel in the sport of Women’s Ice Hockey within a safe and educational environment. This position is part time and not eligible for benefits.
Men’s Water Polo Club Head Coach - Recreation and Wellness Allendale
The Head Coach is responsible for the supervision, planning, and organization of all practices, execution of in-game leadership and strategy, as well as providing mentorship of student-athletes. The Head Coach is expected to travel to all home and away competitions. This position will work closely with the team’s Executive Board members and Recreation & Wellness personnel. This position is part-time with an annual stipend of $5,000, with transportation and lodging for away events provided by the team. The season is typically September through October. The GVSU Men’s Water Polo program is a member of the Great Lakes Division of the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA). The program made 10 straight National Tournament appearances between 2007-2017, making 6 Final Four appearances, finishing runner-up in 2012 and 2013, and winning a National Championship in 2011. The club has 250 wins over the last decade. This position is part time and not eligible for benefits.

Assistant Director of Recreation & Wellness - Recreation and Wellness Allendale
The Department of Recreation & Wellness is looking for a highly motivated individual to oversee our Club Sports program and Business Operations. Recreation & Wellness offers multi-faceted programs that are designed to enhance and engage the GVSU community through providing inclusive and diverse recreational opportunities that inspire participation, promote health and wellbeing, and encourage student development and success. The department operates six core program areas: Club Sports, Fitness Services, Student Wellness, Intramural Sports, Outdoor Adventures and the Injury Care Clinic. Through these programs, the department serves approximately 60% of all GVSU students including 75% of first year undergraduates. The Assistant Director will report to the Associate Director of Recreation & Wellness.

The Director of Stewardship and Donor Relations will develop, direct, and manage a comprehensive stewardship program that strengthens donor ties to the institution. Grand Valley State University seeks candidates for the role of Vice President for University Development and Executive Director of the Grand Valley University Foundation (referred to hereafter as “Vice President”). The Vice President reports directly to the President and is an integral part of the President's Senior Leadership Team. The Vice President is responsible for visioning and leading the university’s comprehensive fundraising efforts, ensuring alignment with mission and strategy, advancing a culture of philanthropy, and executing against short and long-term objectives in an evolving and growing organization. The person in this position is the administrator of the Development Office and associated foundation, providing oversight for 35+ personnel with three to four direct reports and budgets related to fundraising and friend-raising efforts. The Vice President serves on the President’s Cabinet and as staff to the GVU Foundation Board of Trustees.
