Adjunct AP Lead Teacher - Children's Enrichment Center Allendale
A Lead Teacher at the Children’s Enrichment Center (CEC) provides overall leadership, direction, and oversight for their assigned classroom at the children’s center on GVSU’s Allendale campus. A Lead Teacher is responsible for providing a high quality, nurturing classroom community for our littlest Lakers that is both developmentally appropriate and inclusive of multiple perspectives. A Lead Teacher oversees day to day operations including; child care and safety of assigned children, planning and implementation of lessons, curriculum-based observation and assessment, and a partnership and communication with each child’s family in order to best support care and learning for their child. The Lead Teacher will also need to assist the Director in supervision of Assistant Teacher staff; more specifically the staff assigned to the same classroom as the Lead. The individual in this position reports to the Children’s Enrichment Center Director.

Grand Valley State University (GVSU) Libraries is seeking nominations and applications for the Associate Dean (AD) of Curriculum, Research and User Services (CRUS), to provide leadership to a thriving and risk-taking organization. GVSU Libraries continues on an exciting path of evolution and continued exploration, serving as a nexus for quality education and with a visionary focus on student experience. The libraries play a critical role in advancing a liberal education through intellectual partnership with faculty and students throughout the university. The Associate Dean (AD) provides leadership within the Libraries, working collaboratively across campus, with the local community, and with national and international partners to create and support traditional and cutting edge services designed to meet the current and emergent needs of students, faculty, and staff, with a strong student experience focus in line with liberal education. As a key member of the Grand Valley State University Libraries’ senior management team, the AD ensures organizational effectiveness and efficiency and shares in responsibility for decision-making, resource management, and development of policies for operations and services as well as library-wide planning, assessment and programming. The AD should adopt a holistic library-wide view in terms of strategic planning, communication, and fostering an environment of innovation. The AD plays a leadership role in promoting teamwork, diversity, and inclusiveness within GVSU University Libraries and the campus. In addition, the AD participates in relevant campus, consortia or multi-institutional groups. Adjunct Research Associate - Johnson Center for Philanthropy Grand Rapids
The Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy seeks to add an Adjunct Research Associate for research and evaluation with a special emphasis on matters of diversity, equity, and inclusion. This Research Associate will have two primary responsibilities in approximately equal proportions: (1) research support for the Distinguished Scholar in Residence for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and (2) research and evaluation support within the Community Data and Research Lab. The Research Associate will lead quantitative and qualitative research projects (or parts of larger research projects) including surveys and interviews, and will produce a variety of written content for foundation and nonprofit clients. The individual in this position reports to the Director, Community Data and Research Lab, and will be expected to work closely with the Distinguished Scholar in Residence for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position for the 2020-2021 academic year.
