Employee Ombuds Officer - Office of Ombuds Allendale
Grand Valley State University is creating the Office of the Employee Ombuds and seeks to hire its first employee Ombuds to support faculty and staff. Reporting to the President, the Employee Ombuds Officer is a designated neutral and impartial third party whose major function is to provide confidential and informal assistance to constituents of the university’s community, which includes staff, faculty, and/or administrators. The employee Ombuds works closely with the Student Ombuds http://www.gvsu.edu/ombuds/ to provide services to the entire university community. The Employee Ombuds Officer is an advocate for fairness, who acts as a source of information and referral, aids in answering individual’s questions, and assists in the resolution of concerns and critical situations. In considering any given instance or concern, the points of view of all parties that might be involved are taken into account. This office supplements, but does not replace or duplicate, the university’s existing resources for formal conflict resolution. The Office is based on the assurance of confidentiality to the extent to which the law allows. Recruiter Graduate Programs (12 Month Temporary AP) - Admissions Grand Rapids
The Recruiter, Graduate Programs is responsible for recruiting potential students to the graduate programs at Grand Valley State University. This professional supports a comprehensive recruitment plan with individual programs by developing and managing relationships with individual prospects utilizing appropriate sales, marketing, and client lead techniques; developing corporate/employer relationships; relationships with universities across the country developing alumni relationships; coordinating and leading graduate recruitment events, and working with the Graduate School staff and graduate program directors. The Recruiter for Graduate Programs will establish and implement tracking systems to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment efforts and will analyze prospect and admissions data to further inform the process. Flexibility for scheduling early, late, and weekend office hours are required to accommodate programming needs. This is a 12-month entry-level temporary position that has the possibility of being renewed.
Farm Manager/Educator - Office of Sustainability Practices Allendale
The Farm Manager and Educator reports to the Director of the Grand Valley State University (GVSU) Office of Sustainability Practices and works collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students to develop, promote, and coordinate sustainable food system efforts that improve environmental, social, and economic impact for the university.  This position is in the Brooks College of Interdisciplinary Studies, one of the few interdisciplinary colleges in the nation.  It provides Grand Valley and the community with experiences, expertise, and programming that deepens our understanding of the world around us. The College does this through its innovative curriculum and by providing students with high-impact learning experiences like service learning projects, study abroad opportunities, internships, living and learning communities, and intensive writing and research opportunities. RN Care Manager - Nursing Family Health Center Grand Rapids
Grand Valley State University: GVSU’s Family Health Center seeks full-time RN Care Manager. Required qualifications: Current, active and unrestricted Michigan Registered Nurse license; Bachelor’s degree in nursing; Certification in Case Management (CMC) preferred or to be obtained within 12 months of hire; minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a primary care or community setting; Minimum 1 year of case management experience. Responsibilities include supervision of staff and students supporting patient flow.

Vice Provost for Lifelong Learning Allendale
The Vice Provost for Lifelong Learning will oversee a newly reorganized division of Adult, Continuing, Graduate, & Lifetime Learning, and enable Grand Valley to accelerate its efforts to build relationships with learners for a lifetime and enterprises which require education.  Working collaboratively with the academic Deans and other divisions across campus, the Vice Provost will be responsible for expanding Grand Valley’s credit and noncredit programs for adult learners, including degree completion, micro-credentialing, and graduate programs. Additionally, they will oversee several broad areas, including: continuing education, graduate programs office , Career Services (focused on lifelong learners); Alumni Relations (focused on alumni engagement and lifetime learning); Executive Education and Enterprise Partnerships; and, Regional Campuses. The Vice Provost leads in shaping programming to serve the wider community, both enterprises and adult learners, and addressing talent gaps regionally, statewide, and nationally. This position reports to the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs and is a member of the President’s cabinet. COVID Assessment Team Nurse - Office of the Vice Provost for Health Grand Rapids
Grand Valley State University’s Office of the Vice Provost for Health is accepting applications for a registered nurse to serve as a lead on COVID testing and related projects. This individual will serve as a member of the COVID Assessment Team. As part of the COVID Assessment Team, this position will assist with administrative processes related to contacting individuals who have submitted a COVID-19 self-assessment with a positive response. This is a full time, 12-month administrative professional position.
