Living Center Director - Housing & Residence Life Allendale, Michigan
The Living Center Director (LCD) position is a live on residential role primarily focused on the management of a campus housing unit consisting of 400-700 co-ed residents. This staff member will supervise a student staff of Resident Assistants (RA) for the community and create an inclusive community development plan focused on supporting all residents. The LCD will also be responsible for the daily administrative, operational, and facilities duties within the community assigned. WGVU Early Education Engagement Specialist - Adjunct Grand Rapids, Michigan
This position is responsible for coordinating WGVU’s early childhood engagement efforts, including working within the WGVU broadcast area to build relationships and promote WGVU, PBS, NPR, and MLC programming and resources, while also leveraging curricular and digital learning tools to further engage and equitably support educators, students, and families. The position will work in partnership with early childhood and early elementary programs, organizations, and agencies around early childhood, education, and community outcomes and build partnerships with WGVU viewing area education service organizations and school districts, schools, and early childhood education organizations and educators. They will leverage and support WGVU-based education content, resources and curriculum-based support materials from Michigan Learning Channel (MLC), PBS Children’s Media and Education (CME), and other public media programs and resources while additionally coordinating opportunities to build out new content areas that are important to early childhood stakeholders and families.

This position will work on grant proposal writing and project management. Associate Dean for Facilities, Scheduling, Research and Analytics, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (Internal Candidates Only) Allendale, Michigan
The Associate Dean will lead all conversations in the College related to space, facilities, and equipment, manage course scheduling in CLAS, and promote creative activities, research, and grant seeking among faculty and staff. In collaboration with the Provost’s Office and Institutional Analysis, the AD will collect, present, and interpret data to support strategic decision making in the College and to assess the College’s progress toward achieving its commitments and goals. The CLAS Dean’s Office takes a team-based approach, and the new AD will support the work of the College broadly as well as draw on their own experiences and expertise to shape the responsibilities of this position, particularly as they relate to Reach Higher 2025 and the CLAS vision and commitments.

Research Manager Grand Rapids, Michigan
The Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy seeks to understand, strengthen, and advance philanthropy in order to create strong, inclusive communities.  The Center is seeking a Research Manager to join an interdisciplinary team of social science and information technology professionals. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position with the center’s Community Data and Research Lab, located at our offices on the Pew Campus at GVSU, with the opportunity for flexible work arrangements according to the GVSU remote work policy (see Salary and Benefits and ADA sections below). As a Research Manager, you will focus on program evaluation, quantitative and qualitative analysis, writing, and presentation support for applied research and evaluation projects.  The Research Manager works collaboratively with research associates, data analysts, and web developers at the lab as well as staff across the Johnson Center. In addition, the Research Manager builds relationships with current and potential clients and engages in public speaking and facilitation at workshops, presentations, and conferences. Key to the position is maintaining the highest standards of research quality and ethics, including collaboration with the university’s Institutional Review Board.  In addition, the Research Manager proposes research methodology (including alternative and equitable approaches to evaluation and participation), follows existing Johnson Center data protocols, suggests and implements improvements, and serves as an internal and external “evaluation ambassador” for the Johnson Center. The Research Manager will regularly meet one-on-one with the Director of the Community Data and Research Lab, who will work closely with you and support you regarding project selection, client engagement, research, and final presentation.
