Assistant Professor - Spanish (College of Liberal Arts and Sciences) Allendale
Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Spanish: The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Grand Valley State University invites applications for a full time tenure-track faculty position in Spanish, with experience teaching Spanish language, familiarity with ACTFL standards, and a specialization in Second Language Acquisition or Applied Linguistics. Focus on second language literacies or writing and experience with K-12 education programs a plus. The nine-month position is at the assistant professor level to begin in the fall of 2019. Native or near native fluency in Spanish and English required. Ph.D. in hand preferred, but ABD candidates will be considered for a two year contract with provision that your Ph.D. must be completed by December 2020.
