We are seeking a dynamic Program Coordinator to join our team to plan and coordinator outdoor education programs at our Berry Centre.

- Salary ranges from $110,266 up to $122,058 per annum + Sport & Recreation allowance, super & leave loading

This fast-paced, stimulating role involves designing and delivering engaging programs to clients, ensuring smooth logistics and rostering a highly motivated team of Program Officers.

About you
In addition to your passion for outdoor education programs, you will bring to this role:
- Proven ability to design, develop, and oversee school and community outdoor education programs, ensuring they are engaging, relevant, and aligned with client needs.
- Strong understanding of tailoring programs to meet diverse client requirements, incorporating best practices in outdoor education to maximise participant engagement and learning outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in leading, mentoring, and supervising program delivery staff, fostering a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to cultivate and manage relationships with schools, community groups, and other stakeholders to drive business growth, secure new partnerships, and strengthen engagement.
- Comprehensive knowledge of operating procedures, risk management, and child protection obligations, to ensure all programs run safely, efficiently, and in line with organisational standards.
- Ability to liaise effectively between program staff, administrative teams, and other service areas, ensuring seamless collaboration and operational success.
Essential Requirements
- Relevant knowledge, skills and experience and tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or a Certificate IV Outdoor Recreation/Leadership and relevant industry experience.
- Current Class C drivers’ licence.
- Ability to undertake on-call responsibilities on a rostered basis.
You must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident or hold a valid Australian working Visa for the duration of the appointment. Any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory National Police Check You will also need to arrange a Working with Children Check at your own expense.
