  • Salary range from $129,464 to $142,665 plus super and leave loading

EnergyCo NSW is spearheading the transition to renewable energy to deliver clean electricity to the people of NSW as coal-fired power stations near closure.

About the Opportunity
Join EnergyCo in a pivotal role shaping how employees connect with strategy, culture and change. You’ll lead and support communication strategies for organisational change initiatives from transformation programs to system rollouts, while designing and delivering initiatives that strengthen engagement, culture and organisational connection. Working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders, you’ll ensure governance of internal communications, including approvals, brand alignment and consistent messaging across all channels. This is a chance to influence a rapidly evolving organisation by delivering high-impact campaigns, events and content that align people with purpose and drive performance.

About You
You’re an experienced internal communications professional who thrives in complex environments and brings clarity to change. With strong writing and editorial skills, you know how to craft compelling messages across multiple platforms and engage diverse audiences. You have a track record in change communication, using data and insights to continuously improve outcomes and you’re confident advising senior leaders on messaging and approach. You’re collaborative, proactive and comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
Occasional after-hours work may be required to support key events and communication activities.

Essential Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in communication, social media, public relations and/or equivalent experience.

Who we are?
The Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is a statutory corporation established under the Energy and Utilities Administration Act 1987 and governed by its Board, appointed by the Minister for Energy.  EnergyCo is a Staff Agency employing all EnergyCo staff and is an agency related to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).

EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Government’s Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap, which aims to transform the state’s electricity system into one that is cheap, clean, and reliable. As Infrastructure Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020, EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of the State’s first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority transmission infrastructure projects (PTIPs), which are located in the Central-West Orana, New England, South West, Hunter-Central Coast, and Illawarra regions. We work closely with communities, investors, and industry to investigate, plan, recommend and coordinate generation, storage and network infrastructure projects.
