- Temporary role up to June 2028 - full-time at 35 hours per week plus FlexTime

- Salary range from $189,363 to $214,515 plus super and leave loading
EnergyCo NSW is spearheading the transition to renewable energy to deliver clean electricity to the people of NSW as coal-fired power stations near closure.
About the Opportunity
Our EnergyCo Project Delivery team is currently seeking to appoint an Associate Director Delivery to oversee electricity and enabling infrastructure projects within the South West Renewable Energy Zone (REZ).
This Associate Director Delivery actively mitigates delivery risks, driving outcomes for energy customers and regional communities. The role leads the coordinated delivery of high quality, practical programs and reforms to increase sustainability, resource efficiency and productivity.
About You
You are an experienced infrastructure delivery professional with a proven track record leading major, complex projects in high-profile environments. Experience delivering major road infrastructure projects is highly desirable, along with demonstrated expertise in complex client-side contract management, governance, procurement and delivery assurance.
You excel at building strong partnerships across government, industry, communities and stakeholder groups, and can successfully navigate competing priorities, risks and sensitive issues to achieve outcomes. You have led multidisciplinary teams through change, implemented robust delivery frameworks and driven high-quality project outcomes.
With strong commercial acumen, sound judgement and a focus on delivery, you thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about creating lasting benefits for regional communities.
This role requires significant travel throughout the South West REZ and interstate travel.
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or relevant equivalent experience.

Who we are?
The Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is a statutory corporation established under the Energy and Utilities Administration Act 1987 and governed by its Board, appointed by the Minister for Energy. EnergyCo is a Staff Agency employing all EnergyCo staff and is an agency related to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).
EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Government’s Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap, which aims to transform the state’s electricity system into one that is cheap, clean, and reliable. As Infrastructure Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020, EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of the State’s first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority network infrastructure projects (PNIPs), which are located in the Central-West Orana, New England, South West, Hunter-Central Coast, and Illawarra regions. We work closely with communities, investors, and industry to investigate, plan, recommend and coordinate generation, storage and network infrastructure projects.
