As a Senior Policy Officer within the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, you will work on complex and high-profile planning reform initiatives that support a more efficient, transparent and effective planning framework. Working within the Planning Systems Reform team, you will provide policy advice, assist in preparing high-quality reports, and help develop solutions that improve planning assessment processes and deliver better outcomes for communities, industry and government.
The role offers exposure to a diverse range of stakeholders across government, industry and the community, providing opportunities to strengthen your policy, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement and project management skills. With a varied workload and learning how to navigate new challenges, you'll continue to grow your career while contributing to meaningful and rewarding outcomes for NSW.
Bring your experience in planning policy and project management skills and a keen desire for learning how to tackle complex planning problems. A degree in planning, environmental management, engineering or a related discipline is essential.
