The Academic Media Center (AMC) is looking for a creative and motivated candidate to lead the university’s award-winning, student-run television station. The RMU-TV Program Director (PD) is the student worker responsible for the day-to-day operations of the station, engaging with all AMC student, staff, and faculty stakeholders to provide access to this vital community resource. Working closely with RMU Radio and Sentry Media, as well as AMC staff, the PD determines program scheduling, staffing, and strategy, as well as representing RMU-TV to the campus and wider student media communities. |

Peer Tutors - Assist students at RMU in those courses where they might be having difficulty. Peer tutors work with students both one-on-one and in small groups in the Tutoring Center in the Center for Student Success, providing assistance in understanding course materials and homework assignments, as well as, when appropriate, study skills and time-management skills. Peer Tutors will be open to in-person, virtual, and drop-in appointments with tutees during their shifts. |

The Robert Morris University Women's Soccer Team is looking for outgoing and qualified candidates who would like the opportunity to be actively involved with RMU Athletics and its women's soccer program as their student manager. He/she will work with the coaching staff and will assist in daily operations of the team. The purpose of this internship is to develop an understanding of how the intercollegiate athletic programs operate. This position gives the student a chance to learn team operations from the ground up, learning all facets and gaining insight of how to successfully operate a program. Students will work daily with coaches, athletes and administrative staff and will develop working relations and learn how to interact on a professional basis within the parameters of the department. This is an ideal position for the student, of any major, who have a desire to work in intercollegiate athletics upon graduation. Students will be able to apply knowledge learned in the classroom, to everyday aspects of the position. Students will be instructed on the sports best practices and will be instructed on how who do the laundry, including a specific instructions regarding sorting, pre-treating stains, proper laundry loads, laundry loops, proper drying process and more. This position may qualify for SET Transcript credits if it meets applicable criteria. |
