Plumber - Maintenance Worker IV Facilities Maintenance Moon Campus
This position performs work under the direction of department management but with a high degree of initiative and independent judgement. This position’s primary expertise will be in plumbing/mechanical maintenance, installations, and design and will act as lead on all Robert Morris University plumbing system projects. This position ensures that all plumbing systems are properly maintained and are in proper operating condition. Work is performed under the general supervision of the department management. Maintenance coverage is 24/7 – 365 days/year and overtime may be necessary to accomplish work assignments and/or shift coverage. Vacations (PTO) approval may be limited during peak activity periods. This position may be required to work as scheduled during University closings.
Director, Campus Recreation Campus Recreation Moon Campus
The Director of Campus Recreation at RMU is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive management and administration of all campus recreation program areas, ensuring they align with the needs and interests of Robert Morris University students. This role involves spearheading dynamic, innovative, and collaborative initiatives, including but not limited to a robust club sports program, fitness and wellness programs, intramurals, esports, and other emerging activities. In addition to program leadership, the Director provides professional guidance and supervision to a team of four full-time staff. They also directly oversee a network of over 20 head and assistant club sport coaches, while directly and indirectly supervising approximately 70 student staff members across various program areas. They provide oversight and lead the scheduling of several athletic and recreational facilities across campus. Essential to this role is the coordination of professional and student staff training and development initiatives, fostering an environment where student staff can acquire transferable life and career skills through their involvement with Campus Recreation. As a leader and role model within the organization, the Director is instrumental in providing leadership development and skills training for student staff, nurturing their growth and development. This leadership role focuses on recruitment and retention of club sport athletes, supports student wellness, and contributes to creating a vibrant student experience. Essential competencies for this position span across various domains, including programming, strategic planning and execution, leadership, fiscal management, risk management, marketing and promotions, administration, scheduling, supervision, event and facility management, and day-to-day program operations. This position is an 11-Month position.
Office Coordinator Student Experience Moon Campus
The Solution Central Office Coordinator is a highly energetic customer service focused individual who performs duties related to the overall support of a multipurpose office suite. The coordinator plays a pivotal role in establishing a collaborative culture within the four functional areas in the multipurpose service department. This individual will possess functional knowledge of the four offices in this area: Center for Student Success, Financial Aid, Registrar, and Student Financial Services. This position will greet students, assist in the facilitation of processes for the four departments, triage inquiries, coordinate meetings, and ensure each student and visitor satisfaction with their experience. The coordinator must possess an ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate with different stakeholders, while establishing a student-centered, customer service culture within the office. This position is a 9-month position.

Responsible for the provision of Sports Performance services to the Men’s Basketball team within the guidelines, rules, and regulations of Robert Morris University, the Horizon League, and the NCAA. This position is funded through a donation. Continuation of this position is dependent upon extension of donation.

Under supervision from the Director of the Office of Residence Life, The Assistant Director of Residence Life is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the Office of Residence Life. This position will take leadership and management responsibility for housing management, staff development, and residential education. The Assistant Director will also provide ongoing supervision of professional and paraprofessional staff as needed. Additionally, this position assists the Director in the daily management of the overall Residence Life experience. This is a full-time, 12 month position.
Assistant Coach, Women’s D2 Club Ice Hockey Campus Recreation Island Sports Center
The Assistant Coach, Women's D2 Club Ice Hockey is a part-time position not eligible for University benefits. Work hours are limited to 950 per calendar year and less than 29 hours per week on a regular basis. The University is a proud member of the ACHA with successful hockey programs at the Women's D2 level. The team practices 2-3 times per week and plays games most weekends during the season. There are 3-5 travel weekends during the season which include Fridays. Preference is for the coach to attend all practices and games.

The incumbent reports to the RISE Center Director and will work collaboratively with all members of the team and stakeholders across the university and surrounding community. This role engages with activities related to our center’s equipment management, overall operations, and learning support. To be successful in this position the incumbent will heavily rely on ability to understand and manage technology, be a proactive problem-solver, be detailed oriented, be customer-centered, process and outcomes-oriented, and demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and learn quickly. The incumbent will be joining a high functioning and collaborative team committed to delivering excellent service and is committed to continuous improvement. Schedule: Varies per semester, allowed 950 hours per year, average about 20 hours per week per semester, occasional weekend commitments (1-3 times yearly) Hourly Rate: $25 to $30/hr

The Grounds and Athletic Fields Supervisor serves as the primary coordinator of maintenance for the campus grounds athletic fields, tree service maintenance, grounds pest management, hardscape maintenance, and site amenities and gathering space. Will also be a resource to all other Grounds, Maintenance, and Operations areas of work. Position will serve as the primary individual for all athletic turf maintenance. Provides direction and oversees grounds employees on a day to day basis. Using expertise to assess field and weather conditions and provide high quality playing surfaces. Coordinate directly with both coaches and athletic staff regarding game field schedules and practices. Responsible for equipment maintenance schedules, assisting in developing standards for field maintenance and recommending best practices for a Division I Field program. Supervises winter operations during inclement weather.
Director of Development, Athletics Athletics Administration Moon Campus
The Director of Development, Athletics will manage a portfolio of mid-level donors and prospects in support of the athletic department’s initiatives and goals, and in support of subsidizing operations of the men’s and women’s hockey programs. The Director is responsible for raising restricted and unrestricted funds for the hockey program and the department through personal solicitations and events. The Director is also responsible for supporting key fundraising events and the annual fund, with a major focus on fundraising for the department’s hockey programs. Where appropriate, the Director of Development will coordinate efforts with the Athletic Marketing/Communication, Corporate Sponsorship, Compliance and University Institutional Advancement. Responsibilities also include support of the Senior Associate AD for Development by providing reports and data to ensure the department is on track to hit its financial goals.
