Environmental Services Technician Facilities Environmental Services Moon Campus
The position performs manual work in the custodial care of all university buildings and facilities, including residence halls. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Facilities Specialist II and/or Assistant Directors. Coverage is 24/7 – 365 days/year and overtime may be necessary to accomplish work assignments and/or shift coverage. Vacations (PTO) approval may be limited during peak activity periods. This position may be required to work as scheduled during university closings.
Guest Services Associate, Part Time Guest Services Island Sports Center
The position is responsible for greeting guests as they arrive at the Island Sports Center (ISC). Must have strong organizational and communication skills and be able to perform all other duties associated with guest service support. This is a part-time position not eligible for University benefits. Work hours are limited to 950 per calendar year and less than 29 hours per week on a regular basis.
Assistant Manager, Instructional Design Online Programs Moon Campus
The Assistant Manager, Instructional Design is responsible for overseeing and leading the creative direction and project management associated with the development of online courses. The Assistant Manager will lead the work with the faculty designing the courses and the reviewers conducting the review of the courses. The Assistant Manager will create a schedule for RMU online courses to comply with RMU’s online course development processes and procedures necessary for a smooth design and delivery process. The Assistant Manager will take the lead in the Department in organizing and conducting training workshops for teaching and learning online. The Assistant Manager will lead and manage instructional design staff and student workers assigned in that area of the department.
Development Officer Development Moon Campus
The Development Officer is responsible for collaborating with the Director for Development in identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding alumni and friends of the University for the purpose of increasing philanthropic support. The Development Officer will be an energetic and entrepreneurial colleague who has an understanding of, and passion for, the mission of the University and its future.
Skate Guard, Part-Time Guest Services Island Sports Center
This position monitors the ice during public skate sessions and ensures skaters skate in a safe manner. Must be 16 years of age or older. This is a part-time position not eligible for University benefits. Work hours are limited to 950 per calendar year and less than 29 hours per week on a regular basis.

Rooney International Visiting Scholar Center for Global Engagement Moon Campus
OPPORTUNITY The Rooney International Visiting Scholar Program offers international scholars the opportunity to spend a semester in residence at Robert Morris University pursuing research, and/ or teaching while interacting with faculty, staff, and students. The Rooney Scholars live on campus in the Rooney House and become part of the campus community. Travel expenses will be provided and well as an automobile for the Scholar’s use (valid driver’s license required). A salary is provided. RMU is currently accepting applications for the Academic Year 2019-20, for Spring 2020 (approximately, January 9-April 29, 2020). Priority Consideration will be given to applications received by: November 15, 2018 for Spring 2020 residence.
Access Services Specialist University Library Moon Campus
Under the supervision of the University Library Dean, the Access Services Specialist oversees the day-to-day operations of the functional areas within the Access Services division. With overall responsibility and accountability for providing planning and direction to several foundational areas within the department, with particular emphasis on ensuring quality service for library users, the Access Services Specialist participates in the development, recommendation, and administration of Access Services’ policies, procedures, and processes. This position supervises full- and part-time staff members as well as Circulation Student Assistants.

There are 3-5 travel weekends during the season which include Fridays.
