Programmer-Analyst / Senior Programmer-Analyst Enterprise Applications Moon Campus
The Programmer-Analyst / Senior Programmer-Analyst role is an integral part of the IT Applications team primarily supporting Business Intelligence (BI) as well as other software projects across the University. This role consists primarily of creating and supporting existing web-based data driven dashboards, data driven reports, SQL-PL/SQL queries, data integration (middleware) and related data mining / data analysis activities. General software support and related activities are also a part of this role. Advanced data mining, data analysis and associated SQL skills are required. Experience with relational database(s) such as Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL*Server is required; experience utilizing vendor APIs for data integration purposes and working with cloud/SaaS software solutions is strongly desired. Experience developing data driven dashboards, SQL based reports and data integration solutions (sFTP file transfer and/or API use) and performing associated data analysis is required. Ellucian higher education product suite experience including Banner, Insights, DataConnect and Ethos is strongly desired. Evisions Argos reporting and SQL*Server reporting services (SSRS) report development experience is also desired. INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETICS WOMEN'S SOCCER STUDENT MANAGER Women's Soccer Moon Campus
The Robert Morris University Women's Soccer Team is looking for outgoing and qualified candidates who would like the opportunity to be actively involved with RMU Athletics and its women's soccer program as their student manager. He/she will work with the coaching staff and will assist in daily operations of the team. The purpose of this internship is to develop an understanding of how the intercollegiate athletic programs operate. This position gives the student a chance to learn team operations from the ground up, learning all facets and gaining insight of how to successfully operate a program. Students will work daily with coaches, athletes and administrative staff and will develop working relations and learn how to interact on a professional basis within the parameters of the department. This is an ideal position for the student, of any major, who have a desire to work in intercollegiate athletics upon graduation. Students will be able to apply knowledge learned in the classroom, to everyday aspects of the position. Students will be instructed on the sports best practices and will be instructed on how who do the laundry, including a specific instructions regarding sorting, pre-treating stains, proper laundry loads, laundry loops, proper drying process and more. This position may qualify for SET Transcript credits if it meets applicable criteria.
Graduate Assistant - Crisis Intervention Liaison Counseling Center Moon Campus
The RMU Counseling Center is recruiting a graduate assistant (GA) to serve as a crisis intervention liaison. The GA is required to live in a free on-campus apartment to serve as a resource for residential students. They will serve in an on-call rotation providing overnight response to students experiencing a mental health crisis on behalf of the counseling center. GA will also assist with administrative tasks, such as maintaining the counseling center’s local list of provider referrals, as well as being present at counseling center events, as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for graduate students interested in mental health, healthcare/wellness, or higher education to gain experience with mental health response, crisis management, and wellness promotion practices in an on-campus setting. Additionally, this position provides an opportunity for building skills in leadership, student engagement, and community outreach. The ideal candidate needs to be a collaborative, student‐oriented, and reliable individual. Extensive training will be provided prior to beginning work. Successful candidate will be on contract through the end of the 2025-2026 academic year and may be able to continue in their position following an annual performance review, as long as they are still enrolled in a graduate program at RMU.
Graduate Assistant - Peer Wellness Educator Counseling Center Moon Campus
The RMU Campus Wellness Team is recruiting a graduate assistant (GA) to serve as a peer wellness educator. GA will work closely with the Campus Wellness team and Thrive Leaders (undergraduate peer wellness educators) to develop and implement holistic wellness education and outreach programming to the RMU community. This is an excellent opportunity for graduate students interested in mental health/wellness, healthcare, and/or higher education to gain experience with wellness promotion practices in an on-campus setting. Additionally, this position provides an opportunity for building skills in leadership, student engagement, and community outreach. The ideal candidate needs to be a collaborative, student‐oriented, and reliable individual. The successful candidate will be on contract through the end of the 2025-2026 academic year and may be able to continue in their position following an annual performance review, as long as they are still enrolled in a graduate program at RMU.
Graduate Assistant - Office of Residence Life Office of Residence Life Moon Campus
The RMU Office of Residence Life (ORL) is recruiting a graduate assistant (GA) to serve as an on-call team member / program assistant. The GA will live in an on-campus apartment to serve as a resource for residential students, serving in the on-call duty rotation for the ORL. The GA will also work closely with ORL staff and community advisors (CAs) to develop an environment in the residence hall community that is conducive to academic success, intellectual growth, and social development. This is an excellent opportunity for graduate students interested in student affairs, higher education, or mental health to gain experience with mental health response, crisis management, and wellness promotion practices in an on-campus setting. Additionally, this position provides an opportunity for building skills in leadership, student engagement, and community outreach. The ideal candidate needs to be a collaborative, student‐oriented, and reliable individual. Extensive training will be provided prior to beginning work. A successful candidate will begin their contract June 1 and may be able to continue in their position following an annual performance review, as long as they are still enrolled in a graduate program.
