This position is a Grade: 9 - 40 with an approximate salary range of $54,390-$66,190 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
•Develop and implement processes, systems, content, learning outcomes and digital resources to embed career education into the curricular and co-curricular student experience across Lehigh’s colleges
• Collaborate with the Director of Career Education and the career education team to develop and implement effective intervention strategies for Lehigh’s undergraduate colleges
• With the Director of Career Education, co-lead the onboarding process for new professionals joining the Center for Career & Professional Development and develop annual plans for professional development
• Program promotion in campus communities. Serve as a connector, facilitator and convener of students, employers, alumni, faculty and staff
• Position S97490 will collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of career integration initiatives
• Position S80002 will lead the overall strategy and execution of the career center’s newsletter communication efforts to ensure consistent and impactful outreach to students and campus partners
Qualifications:
• Master's Degree in Student Personnel, Higher Education, a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• Five to eight years of related work experience
• Broad knowledge of career development or career coaching theory, approaches and strategies
• Broad knowledge of recruiting practices, industry trends, and best practices in career services
• Demonstrated skills in developing a team approach to career education and to develop productive working relationships with multiple constituents including students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents and employers
• Qualified candidates are able to work independently and in a team within a culturally diverse environment; are aware of new technologies and trends; and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of the emerging trends in career development programming
