Lehigh University, a leading research institution renowned for its academic excellence and vibrant campus community, seeks a dynamic and dedicated professional to join the Student Affairs team as an Assistant Dean of Students.

In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in supporting student success and promoting academic excellence. As the Assistant Dean, you will provide individualized academic guidance, oversee transition programs, and coordinate support for students facing academic challenges. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering campus partnerships, developing programming for the Academic Life & Student Transition (ALST) unit, and ensuring students have access to the resources they need to thrive.

Position Number: S80990

This position is a Grade: 10 - 40 with an approximate salary range of $66,270-$80,620 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide a data-driven comprehensive system of support to facilitate students’ academic transition to Lehigh and actively attend to challenges to their academic success, retention, persistence and degree progress.
• Develop and coordinate support services for students who are in academic jeopardy, e.g. academic warning, probation, and/or those identified through other academic indicators, etc.
• Serve as the ALST liaison to students and campus partners that work directly with identified student populations.
• Lead the development and implementation of broad-based programming across the ALST unit.
• Supervision, fiscal management, and support of broader Academic Life and Student Transitions and Dean of Students Office functions.

Qualifications:
• Master's Degree in Counseling, Student Affairs, Higher Education Administration, a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three to five years of related work experience.
• Prior experience in academic support, advising, retention programs, and general student affairs work preferred.
