Are you passionate about fostering meaningful connections and creating unforgettable experiences? Lehigh University, a vibrant and dynamic institution, is seeking an Assistant Director of Regional and Affinity Strategy to join our dedicated team in the Development and Alumni Relations department.

In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to engage with our diverse network of over 85,000 alumni, planning events and initiatives that celebrate the rich tapestry of our community. As a member of the regional and affinity team, you will collaborate closely with alumni relations professionals and regional gift officers to develop innovative engagement strategies that strengthen the bonds between Lehigh and its alumni.

Position Number: S82290

This position is a Grade: 8 - 40 with an approximate salary range of $46,870-$56,250 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a portfolio of regional based alumni networks (6-8) that promote the university priorities and alumni engagement through in person and digital events.
• Manage regional and affinity volunteers for assigned alumni networks. This includes developing volunteer clubs as well as managing volunteers.
• Oversee 3-4 social affinity groups including but not limited to the Lehigh Wrestling Club, The Lehigh Sports Alumni Network, and Marching 97.
• Support programs housed within the Alumni Relations Team and others within DAR, to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
One to three years of related work experience
• Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop innovative engagement initiatives.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in relevant technology and digital platforms for communication and event management.
