As the Associate Director of Development, Colleges, you will play a vital role in two key areas:
1. Portfolio Management: You will cultivate meaningful relationships with a diverse portfolio of prospects and donors aligned with a specific college or unit at Lehigh University. Your responsibilities will span the entire gift cycle, including initiating contact, cultivating potential donors, making solicitations, writing proposals, and ensuring exceptional stewardship of our valued supporters.
2. Strategic Program Development: In collaboration with the Director of Development, you will contribute to the overall fundraising strategy for your assigned college. This includes gathering and synthesizing data, planning and executing events, developing compelling communications and case statements, engaging volunteers, facilitating annual support and special projects, and working closely with college leaders, faculty, volunteers, and internal DAR staff and university partners.

This position is a Grade: 10 - 40 with an approximate salary range of $66,270-$80,620 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a portfolio of assigned prospects to solicit and close major gifts for college priorities.
• Cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of assigned prospects to secure financial support for college and university priorities.
• Work with the Director of Development to develop annual fundraising plans, including opportunities to qualify and solicit new prospects and donors
• Take a leadership role in recruitment, engagement, solicitation and management of specific projects, programs and volunteer leadership groups. Projects could include annual affinity-based fundraising efforts from alumni, select development events, key stewardship and communications projects, annual giving opportunities, etc.
• Develop, maintain and provide reports on assigned projects and performance of pipeline, prospect activity and fundraising for assigned projects the college - independently and/or in collaboration with internal development partners.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• Three to five years of related work experience
• Proven track record of success in fundraising or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
