Reporting to the Director of Prospect Management, you'll serve as an integral team member driving prospect strategy that fuels Lehigh's fundraising success. You'll collaborate closely with DAR leadership and principal gift officers to identify, develop, and implement prospect management processes supporting our ambitious fundraising goals. Your expertise in prospect, pipeline, and portfolio management will directly contribute to transforming lives through education.

This position is a Grade: 9 - 40 with an approximate salary range of $55,200-$67,180 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.
Key Accountabilities:
• Coordinate the activities related to training of new and existing staff on best practices and new resources.
• Lead and mentor the team on professional development efforts.
• Communicate job accountabilities, performance expectations, and goals. Evaluate performance, provide appropriate feedback, and develop plans for improvement.
• In coordination with the Director, develop tracking and reporting processes for the management of prospect management team metrics.
• Assist in the implementation and coordination of modifications to reports used by various teams across DAR as it relates to Prospect Management.
• Produce and interpret reports on fundraising activity, pipeline activity, and prospect movement.
• Work collaboratively with the Principal Gifts team and participate in Principal Gifts meetings to discuss the assignment of principal gift prospects.
• Work collaboratively with fundraisers to formulate strategies and provide prospect management updates and prospect information to enhance the pool of prospective individual donors.
• Lead the effort around the creation of portfolios for new fundraisers and facilitate portfolio analysis meetings with the fundraisers and DAR leadership.
• When communicating with clients, work to understand their point of view, define actionable/tangible objectives and determine the scope of the project.
• When managing projects, set reasonable timelines and deadlines for project delivery.
• Proactively initiate projects designed to discover and analyze new and emerging prospect segments.
• Maintain a high-level understanding of all DAR and University initiatives to enable effective operational decision making
• Remain current on and knowledgeable of trends and best practices published by industry organizations such as the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA)
• Attend conferences and professional groups, and training, including training offered internally at Lehigh and by the DAR
• Promote excellent relations between DAR and the Lehigh community by serving as a liaison for prospect research information between DAR and other Lehigh colleges, offices, departments, etc.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts, Statistics, Economics or Business
• Three to five years of related work experience
• Experience with software to produce complex visual dashboards (Tableau) preferred
• Experience with modern constituent relationship management system (Ellucian CRM Advance) preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Creative problem solving and strategic thinking
• Attention to detail
• Working effectively across departments and with various personality types
