Assistant Coach, Football - Join Lehigh University Athletics

Lehigh University seeks a dedicated Assistant Coach to join our Football program and contribute to the development of student-athletes both on and off the field. This full-time exempt position offers the opportunity to shape young minds while advancing your coaching career at a prestigious institution.

About the Opportunity

As Assistant Coach, you will provide leadership and direction across all program facets, supporting our mission to develop well-rounded student-athletes. Your responsibilities will directly impact recruitment success, athletic performance, and academic achievement within our football program.

Position Number: S99420

This position is a Grade: 7 - 40 with an approximate salary range of $39,670-$47,620 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver sport-specific coaching and skill development
  • Lead recruitment efforts to attract top student-athletes
  • Support academic development and student-athlete success
  • Maintain compliance with University, Patriot League, and NCAA policies
  • Collaborate with coaching staff to achieve program objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree preferred
  • One to three years of work related experience
  • Experience as a student-athlete
  • NCAA Certification required
  • CPR/First-Aid Certification required
