| Detailed Description: |
This is a full-time, temporary, benefit-based position with an anticipated end date of June 30, 2027. The appointment is renewable at the discretion of the University and dependent upon performance and continued funding.
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to real estate faculty, the real estate department, and other employees in the Burnham Moores Center for Real Estate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
General Administration
- Greet and provide excellent customer service to our visitors, faculty, students, alumni and staff by assisting them with their inquiries
- Conduct research using Internet and databases
- Schedule meetings and support meeting needs as requested
- Assist others in the real estate department and on the BMC team as needed including help with BMC events (prep and the actual event)
- Prepare calendar of real estate undergrad classes & MSRE classes for distribution to team
- Assist with parking logistics as requested including coordinating with other Knauss departments.
Real Estate Faculty Support
- Provide assistance and support related to academic programs as requested by faculty
- Provide assistance and support to faculty when needed (e.g., arrange parking for faculty and class speakers, photocopy exams, miscellaneous requests)
- Provide assistance for Canvas classroom website, including student group setup, module creation, document uploading, etc.
MS in Real Estate Support
- Support MSRE recruitment through proactive and responsive communication with prospective students - examples include but not limited to update databases, track application progress, schedule interviews, support class visitors, make courtesy calls.
- Coordinate event logistics, including MSRE Information Sessions
- Assist with database organization and reporting to support admissions operations and data integrity
- MSRE marketing and communications support including creating graphics on Canva
- Attend admissions events upon request
Real Estate Career Services Support
- Support MSRE students by assisting with industry events, internal events, calendar updates, student directory, MSRE-500 week
- Coordinate graduation activities
- Register MSRE students for classes
- Respond to MSRE student requests
- May assist with updating various data in Salesforce
- May assist with editing resumes to USD RES format
- May assist with coordinating logistics for Career Expo, Real Estate Society, and other student-related events

| Job Requirements: |
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year of administrative assistant experience
OR
- HS Diploma and 3 years administrative assistant experience
Performance Expectations - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Basic level Excel, Microsoft Word and Power Point
- Friendly disposition
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Detailed oriented and excellent organization skills
- Strong writing skills and able to draft correspondence
- Ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively

The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience, education and other factors including departmental budget.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week. In addition, the Knauss School of Business offers two different compressed work schedule options following a 9/75 structure in which employees have 1 to 1.5 days off over every two-week period as well as a hybrid option for those positions that can complete some work remotely.
