Administrative Support Coordinator (Administrative Support Coordinator II) ON-CAMPUS ONLY Chico
The Department of Music and Theatre is a large and complex unit with a large number of faculty, and administrative, technical, and theatre production staff. Working independently under general direction, incumbent serves as the aide to the Department Chair; works independently providing essential front-line administrative support; provides continuity and stability to the central department office and oversight of daily operation; provides lead work direction for one ASA II and office student assistants. Maintenance Mechanic (Facilities Maintenance Mechanic) Chico
The Facilities Maintenance Mechanic is a skilled generalist, independently performing a wide range of skilled journey-level trade work in one trade, such as electro-mechanical, with strong skills in other trades. Incumbent will coordinate between HR units and the campus community to investigate university matters, resolve disputes, and resolve grievances and other complaints. The essential duties require the incumbent to interpret and apply specific operating policies and procedures, perform research, prepare reports with recommended courses of action, make in-depth analytical studies and investigations which may have broad impact, develop strategic solutions to complex problems as well as make recommendations for changes in policy or procedures, and may handle problems of a highly confidential and sensitive nature. Supervisor of Custodial Services (Administrator I) Chico

Animal Care Technician (Instructional Support Tech I) Chico
Under supervision, coordinates animal care functions and facilities for the Department of Biological Sciences. College Advising & Retention Specialist (Student Services Professional III) Chico
Under the specific direction of the Associate Dean and general direction of the Assistant Vice President for Student Success Initiatives and University Advising, the Student Services Professional III (SSP III) performs a variety of complex and sensitive professional student service work, including but not limited to, academic advising, retention initiatives, and program assessment. This work includes an analysis of needs, considerable advisement of policy and eligibility requirements, and the use of planning, interviewing, and counseling techniques. When appropriate, the SSP III develops approaches for possible implementation that meet specific program needs. The College Advising & Retention Specialist works with the Associate Dean, Program Coordinators/Department Chairs, and faculty to identify and develop academic plans to help students persist through graduation. The incumbent will compile advising-related reports and analyze data with the Associate Dean and designated advisors to determine targeted intervention strategies. Additionally, the incumbent partners/supports faculty in advising students to decrease time to degree. This position requires considerable administrative planning to develop creative solutions that integrate approaches across organizational lines. Information Security Analyst (Information Technology Consultant-Carrer) Chico
Under general direction of the Information Security Officer, the Information Security Analyst researches, develops, implements, and maintains security systems to ensure protection of University systems and the confidential information in the custody of the University. The incumbent will participate in risk assessments and technical audits to identify potential risks and help design protections against identified risks. The Information Security Analyst works collaboratively with technical and non-technical members of the University community to review business processes, implement security policies, document procedures, and design best practices related for the protection of sensitive information assets. Analyst/Programmer (Analyst/Programmer-Career) Chico
As a career-level position, the incumbent works relatively independently and possesses the experience to be fully proficient in performing most of the work assignments. The primary responsibility of this position is to Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) data from various systems and form the data that may be useful for the user and organizational information (reporting) needs. Data Services is an organization under Office of Institutional Research (IR) and the Division of Information Technology (IT). Data Services serves organizations across the campus including Business and Finance, Human Resources, and Student Services in their data and reporting needs. Data Services may also participate in CSU system-wide data initiatives requiring both collaboration and alignment or our data, tools, and techniques used as they develop. Data Services utilizes several different programming languages and tools and knowledge from other systems is often transferable. The current data warehousing and reporting tools are IBM InfoSphere (Metadata), Data Stage (ETL), and both Cognos Analytics and Tableau for business intelligence (BI). This position is primarily focused upon the efficient use of ETL and the data warehouse design and may evolve as the business changes. Data Services uses programming languages/scripts/syntax such as SQL (Oracle and Microsoft SQL), Python, Java, and C#. Data Services incorporates data from multiple sources, conducts the data model design, interviews and interacts with clients, and supports the university with learning, research, and business operations. Tools and programming change over time, requiring the incumbent to update skills and tools through training and knowledge transfer.
Office Coordinator (Administrative Support Coordinator I) Chico
Under general administrative direction of the Director of Administrative Services WCHC, this position will perform a variety of complex administrative duties as well as clerical functions to support the mission of the WCHC. This position will be responsible for a wide variety of WCHC project activities including their initiation, execution, coordination, implementation, and evaluation. In addition, this position will serve as the Lead for the Health Information Management (HIM) department of the WCHC.
