Job Summary
This position supports the ongoing development, maintenance, testing and day-to-day operations of the Admission Student Administration system functionality, Cal State Apply & WebAdmit, and OnBase Graduate Admission workflow. Furthermore, the incumbent provides services that are equitable, inclusive, and culturally sensitive to enhance the quality of campus life. This position uses a student-centered and equity-minded approach in all communication and service efforts, whether in-person, via phone or through written correspondence.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinates specialized student system processes including the handling of day-to-day operational needs for communications, checklists, mass moves, and systems configurations for Enrollment Management needs.
- Provides admissions systems maintenance, configuration, and end-user support for admissions related systems.
- Maintain test plans and assists with the coordination of testing of software updates as issued by Oracle, the CSU and other systems.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated ability to organize and plan multiple priorities and to carry out assignments with minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability to analyze and evaluate complex situations and data, and take appropriate actions within established procedures, as well as make recommendations on improvement of administrative procedures, practices, and/or programs. Demonstrated ability to trouble-shoot and resolve system related problems. Demonstrated ability to create effective program documentation, communication, and training materials.
Knowledge of information systems, preferably Oracle/PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. Demonstrated ability to create and deliver effective system-related training programs. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Demonstrated ability to communicate with ethnically and culturally diverse communities. Maintains a safe work environment. Communicates with the University community in a civil manner. Knowledge of and ability to use: MS Word, MS Excel, Remedy Help Desk Software, PeopleSoft.

Education and Experience
Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in applicable field and two years of direct work experience required.

Compensation
Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department’s fiscal resources.
Hiring Range: The hiring range for this position is $4,156 - $4,600 per month commensurate with candidate's education, experience, skills, and training.
CSU Classification Salary Range: The CSU Classification Salary Range for this position is $3,879 - $7,488 per month.

Time Base
1.0 time-base, 40 hours per week.
Duration of Appointment
