Under general guidance the Information & Functional Specialist will provide administrative and analytical work supporting Student Housing, specifically in the operational functions of the informational data flow contained in the Student Housing database. The incumbent will perform functions related to analyzing, planning, reporting and backend setup of StarRez Cloud and Portal X and maintain integrations with campus systems and applications. The the Information & Functional Specialist will collaborate with the divisions’ shared service partners to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of the program’s data base front facing user interface, all associated back end system setup and staff and external user experience. Working with Information StarRez StarCare, Technology Services (ITS) and other campus partners, the incumbent will maintain process setup, formulate, assess and evaluate the impact of recommended and/or implemented policies, and directly participating in the operational activities of the program. The the Information & Functional Specialist will be responsible for the housing administrative process as they relate to data setup for application, booking, reservation, rates, room configuration and reporting. Responsibilities also include implementation of different programs and enhancements of systems/process in support to existing and emerging changes. The Information & Functional Specialist will assist in compiling, disseminating and providing financial related data to the campus community in direct support of the functions of the Information & Functional Analyst.
Assignments Coordinator (Administrative Support Coordinator II) - Housing, Dining & Conference Services San Francisco
Under the general supervision of the Student Housing Program Assignments Specialist, the incumbent is responsible for all functions related to entering, tracking, and organizing Housing, Dining & Conference Services’ (HDCS) housing bed space applications and resident data information. This information will be made available to HDCS staff through reports and reporting tools in the StarRez database. This position will process data information includes housing applications, License Agreements, wait list information, room assignments and changes, move-ins, moving-outs or any type of rquired relocations and other residential information as assigned. Incumbent will be required to visually check units and bed spaces for move-in readiness.
