Position Summary:
|
The Associate Registrar will be responsible for coordinating all facets of the operations of the Wilf Campus Registrar’s Office including student registration and records, class schedules, graduation clearance and other related matters.
Responsible for providing the highest level of customer service to all constituents of the university community.

Position Responsibilities:
|
- Manages the day-to-day operations of the Office of the Registrar
- Responsible for the maintenance and security of academic records
- Perform degree audits and certification of graduates for Yeshiva College and Syms School of Business
- Oversee degree audits and certification of graduates for Azrieli Graduate School, Bernard Revel Graduate School and Wurzweiler School of Social Work, RIETS
- Assign classroom space for the Wilf Campus
- Oversee all registrar procedures including transcript processing, grade processing, transfer credit evaluation, graduation procedures and certification of enrollment
- Responsible for course scheduling and maintenance of the schedule
- Responsible for ensuring accurate data processing with respect to the Clearinghouse
- Ensures overall accurate data processing for the Wilf Campus registrar’s office
- Responsible for giving guidance and assistance to Registrar’s office staff with respect to policies and procedures and other inquiries that may arise
- Train newly hired staff
- Will serve as a technical and procedural resource to students, faculty and staff
- Assist in meeting the information needs of academic departments and in developing office procedures
- Recommend and participates in the development and implementation of University policies and procedures regarding student registration
- Other duties as assigned

- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, experience in providing good customer service
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy, strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task, ability to maintain high level of discretion and confidentiality
- Effectively prioritize work and adjust to changing workloads and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft word and excel a must.
- Knowledge of Banner a plus.
