Position Summary:      

Receives and stores perishable and dry goods items. The schedule is: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm, Friday 8:00am-3:15pm.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Stores perishable and dry goods items insuring accuracy of FIFO system
  • Segregates dented cans and outdated items
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms organized
  • Communicates with managerial staff any storages with inventory or damaged merchandise
  • Conducts inventories as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Experience & Educational Background:

  • High school diploma plus 2 to 4 years related experience is required
  • Knowledge of Kosher dietary laws also preferred

Skills & Competencies:

  • Good organization skills
  • Must be able to handle food according to established sanitary guidelines
  • Speaks to clients and colleagues in a respectful and thoughtful manner
  • Provides excellent customer service
  • Creative thinker with original ideas

Salary Range:

Grade 5, 1199 New Hire Rate: $24.16

1199 One Year of Service Rate: $24.65
