Position Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develops, coordinates, and maintains relationships with hospitals, clinical, and community agency sites being utilized by nursing students to complete clinical rotations
- Secures and renews affiliation agreements between Katz School Nursing Program and clinical sites
- Maintains an updated database with specific compliance and/or training requirements for each clinical and/or community facility
- Coordinates, facilitates, and documents student compliance activities for clinical agencies to include agency orientation, and completion of required forms, EMR trainings, and screenings in addition to initial Nursing Program required screenings
- Participates in clinical placement planning and scheduling for students and clinical adjunct faculty
- Maintains full contact information for clinical adjuncts; including specialty area
- Maintains full contact information of student rosters for each clinical site
- Communicates to students their clinical site placement, specific site requirements, and any changes or updates as necessary
- Communicates to lead faculty, adjunct faculty, and students’ orientation requirements and on boarding requirements for each individual clinical site
- Facilitates student orientation at various clinical agencies as needed
- Coordinates clinical adjunct faculty orientation in collaboration with lead faculty, program manager, and nursing leadership
- Communicates to clinical adjuncts regarding semester start and end dates, holidays, conversion days, and deadlines for all clinical evaluation forms
- Provides course lead faculty with clinical adjuncts full contact information and clinical adjuncts with lead faculty; also including site location and unit
- Manages all clinical clearances for faculty and students in Castlebranch System
- Plans and attends clinical coordination forums, pre-clinical summit events, career fairs, student forums, and conferences as appropriate to prepare and assess clinical program effectiveness
- Completes work in a timely manner, including preparing, documenting, and tracking clinical placement assignments
- Performs any other duties as may be assigned or required
