Job Summary:

An employee in this classification performs work of moderate difficulty by planning and overseeing projects related to, the Intranet, and third-party website projects. Work is distinguished by being a key contributor to the digital content development process. Direction is received by the assigned manager.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management, Business, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field with a minimum of five years of software project management experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
2. Considerable knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
3. Considerable knowledge of web content and SEO.
4. Considerable skill in producing program and project reports (print or digital)
5. Considerable skill in project management and data analysis as well as problem-solving abilities.
6. Considerable skill in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Access and Publisher
7. Considerable skill in organizing work to meet established deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
8. Working skill in interpersonal interaction to be applied to a variety of individuals with differing education, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds.
9. Working skills in verbal and written communication.
10. Working skill in operating a personal computer, applicable software and peripheral equipment as well as learning and adapting to new and updated programs and technology.
11. Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends when required by the department’s needs.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


Essential Duties:

1. Develops and manages web development and support procedures, tools, and test plan documentation.
2. Write scope documents, policies, managing source code.
3. Write detailed project plans that identify components of work, creating project timelines and final releases.
4. Plan, write and edit web content for quality.
5. Improve search engine optimization through content strategy.
6. Collaborating with UX designers on user flows, site navigation, content organization, and site navigation labels
7. Works with the Digital Analytics and SEO specialist to create customized, suggested search categories and pages with Search Console and Funnelback.
8. Manage, coordinate and execute annual reviews of content sections.
9. Champion Agile methodologies to the organization, demonstrating the value of incremental value delivery
10. Maintains required training, licensure and/or certifications
11. Maintains confidentiality of privileged information and adheres to applicable privacy laws
12. Demonstrates sensitivity, understanding and respect of diverse populations within the workplace.
13. Maintains an understanding of the work of colleagues to effectively provide backup and/or support for co-workers during times when the division is short-staffed or experiencing an increased volume of work.
14. Adheres to department guidelines for attendance and punctuality

1. Perform other job-related duties as assigned which pertain to the job description.
2. Ability to work a flexible schedule which includes days/evenings/weekends as needed by the department.
