Columbia University recently combined its Title IX, Gender Based Misconduct, Office of Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action (EOAA), and Office of the Protection of Minors teams into one centralized office. This new office will focus on advancing the University’s efforts in all of these areas. To assist in meeting this objective we are seeking an Administrative Coordinator to act as the Office’s gatekeeper and field a variety of high-priority and confidential inquiries and requests. The incumbent will work independently and will be required to use sound judgment when handling sensitive information. They will also engage in frequent interactions with diverse groups of employees, students, and faculty. The Administrative Coordinator will triage calls and correspondence directed to the office as well as the Vice Provost for Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action. This individual will enhance our office's reputation by building friendly, trusting relationships with all constituents. The Administrative Coordinator reports to the Vice Provost for Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action, who is responsible for the oversight of this new office.
