Reporting to the Executive Director of Admissions and Financial Aid, the Associate Director of Admissions assists in executing recruitment, admissions, and enrollment management strategies aimed at meeting specific enrollment goals and enrolling a high-quality, diverse student body that enhances the reputation of the School of International and Public Affairs. The Associate Director is responsible for managing prospect inquiries and applications and executing a comprehensive communications strategy that includes pre-admission counseling to prospective applicants for all School programs. The Associate Director manages the enrollment of admitted students and oversees planning and execution of yield events and associated campaigns. The incumbent serves as a member of the team responsible for Slate project management, including developing, tracking and reporting on key admissions and enrollment metrics. The incumbent trains and supervises graduate program assistants, and casual and work-study employees to ensure high quality customer service and accurate and efficient information dissemination.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Admissions and Financial Aid, the Director of Financial Aid is responsible for administering SIPA's financial aid programs, managing the day-to-day operations of the Financial Aid Office, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and school and office policies and procedures. The office administers federal, state, private and institutional aid to over 1,300 students. This includes the processing of federal and private loans totaling over $14M annually. Works with a high degree of independence, under the general oversight of the Executive Director. Directly supervises and trains Financial Aid Office staff. In consultation with the Executive Director of Admissions and Financial Aid, exercises the authority to hire/release administrative personnel in the unit.
