In general, we study the mechanisms through which the brain regulates how much food one eats and how much energy one expends. We also develop novel technologies to better understand brain function. We are currently looking for someone who will work with other lab members to help design and implement experiments critical to the lab, including molecular cloning, animal work, in vivo calcium imaging, and/or functional manipulations of neural circuits (e.g. optogenetics, chemogenetics).
