About the role
We are an embedded software development team within spot trading. As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a key role within a cross-functional scrum team to develop and support critical software to allow us to thrive in the National Electricity Market. This will include leading the improvement of our build and release automation.
This is an 18-month, fixed-term position.
Salary range $145,808 – $169,024 plus super

Key responsibilities
- Develop and support application software lifecycle
- Maintain and continuously improve standards, tool definitions and practices
- Maintain system and software integrity
- Investigate application software performance to detect errors and apply testing procedures/methodologies

Skills & experience
- Experience implementing build and release pipelines (both classic and yaml) using Azure DevOps Server (or GitHub)
- Experience upgrading and configuring Azure DevOps Server
- Experience in full stack .NET (C#) development (client, server, database)
- Deep solution ownership, including solution design, clean coding, refactoring, automated testing
- Strong abilities to work autonomously and problem-solve
- A proactive and self-aware approach alongside strong stakeholder engagement skills
