ABOUT THE ROLE
This role reports directly to the Director of Finance, Facilities and Planning and exists to provide operations management at the Marian Centre, Wollongong site. This role is required to perform leadership duties in support of the effective functioning of Centre operations. Your duties may include:
- Model Catholic values by providing a welcoming, cooperative and accessible service for Catholic Education in the Diocese of Wollongong
- Oversee the daily operations of the Marian Centre (Wollongong CEO Office) and offsite storage facilities
- Provide direct leadership and management to the Reception Services team
- Lead occupancy planning, space management, office design, and fit-out projects
- Design and implement robust systems, procedures, and building protocols to ensure high-quality service delivery for staff and visitors.
- Manage Reception team staffing levels, including the recruitment and allocation of casual staff as required
- Lead the training, mentoring, and professional development of team members
- Prepare and monitor the annual operating budget and ongoing expenditure for Marian Centre site services
- Engage and manage external contractors for building maintenance and services, liaising closely with the onsite Building Manager
- Prepare briefing papers and reports for the Director of Finance, Facilities, and Planning as required

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management role
- Demonstrated experience in senior administration and leading a team
- Demonstrated experience with project management
WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE
This role is classified as child related work and therefore we require a working with children clearance to be completed prior to your commencement with us.
