About BMD

BMD is Australia’s leading integrated engineering, construction, and urban development business. As the largest privately owned civil contractor in Australia, BMD is at the forefront of excellence, with a growing international footprint extending to the Philippines and the United Kingdom.

Driven by a purpose of powering futures and creating enduring legacies, we deliver complex infrastructure solutions that connect and transform communities. For over 45 years, our diverse portfolio of projects and roles provides exceptional opportunities for our people to grow and make a lasting impact. As part of our team, you’ll contribute to challenging projects, supported by leadership within an inclusive, people-first culture.

About the role

As a Graduate Change Coordinator, you will support the Organisational Change Lead in delivering ERP and digital transformation initiatives across the BMD Group. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in change management, stakeholder engagement, and organisational transformation within a large, fast-paced engineering and construction business.

You will be exposed to a range of projects and processes, learning how to plan and execute change management activities and support the adoption of new systems and ways of working across diverse teams, including site-based and remote employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Organisational Change Lead in driving adoption, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and supporting training initiatives across the organisation.

  • Support the implementation of change management strategies and plans for ERP and other digital projects.

  • Help coordinate stakeholder engagement activities and maintain stakeholder registers.

  • Assist in preparing communication materials and developing training needs assessments for end users.

  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations and contribute to project updates as required.

  • Support readiness and change impact assessments across business units.

  • Assist in coordinating and delivering training sessions.

  • Monitor and report on adoption and change readiness metrics.

  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure change activities align with project milestones.

  • Maintain documentation and records of change management activities.

  • Support the creation of current state vs future state documentation and project training materials.

  • Gain experience in project reporting, including status reports and steering committee packs.

  • Provide administrative support for project meetings, including scheduling, agendas, and minute-taking.

  • Assist in maintaining issue and risk logs.

Who we’re looking for

  • Recent graduates with a degree in business, project management, communications, engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across different stakeholder groups.

  • Interest in change management, digital transformation, and continuous improvement.

  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
