About the role 

We’re seeking an experienced, solutions-focused Building Project Manager to take the lead across multiple commercial and industrial construction projects.

The role requires a hands-on approach with the opportunity to showcase and enhance leadership, accountability and professional improvement.

You’ll work closely with theConstruction Manager to stabilise project delivery, lift performance, and shape a high-performing site team that’s ready to expand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Field Staff and Site Managers across multiple projects
  • Drive delivery to program, specification, and safety standards
  • Build capability through mentoring and coaching site teams
  • Uphold standards around quality, culture, and commercial performance
  • Identify issues early and implement practical, effective solutions
  • Maintain clear communication with the Director on project progress, performance and risk
  • Implement systems and processes that improve operational efficiency

 

About You

  • Proven experience leading commercial and/or industrial construction projects
  • Ability to manage multiple teams and priorities at once
  • Strong commercial acumen with a focus on profitability and value
  • Calm, practical, and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Strong communicator who listens, adapts, and leads by example
  • Comfortable with learning new systems and technology
  • Experience with both design and construct and lump sum contracts
  • Background in contract administration and project programming
  • History of working in lean, high-trust environments
