As a Project Manager, you will:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders by providing a customer service approach that delivers high value outcomes.
  • Fully scope and project manage activities as well as oversee complex projects with competing deadlines providing a high-quality service to all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the implementation of divisional and university initiatives within the faculty as required.
  • Analyse problems, weigh up a range of options to identify accessible and inclusive solutions and translate complex issues into clear and understandable goals and targets for Deakin.
  • Develop, maintain and use a variety of systems, processes, diverse range of people and sources to gather information and gain deeper understanding and make critical strategic decisions.
  • Interpret needs and offers pragmatic, inclusive and sustainable solutions based on research and in alignment with university context, policies and practices from insights through a deep understanding of the business.

 To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or
  • Extensive experience and management expertise; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • Experience in project coordination and management.
  • Experience working in an environment which dictates high standards of protocol, attention to detail and professionalism.
  • Experience managing, coordinating or delivering a broad range of quality activities or projects.
  • Experience working within a large scale and complex organisation.
