As a Governance Coordinator, you will:
- Implement and review the University legislation, policy, procedures and guidelines in the context of the Faculty of Arts and Education
- Provide policy advice and consultation services to the Faculty of Arts and Education for University legislation, policy, procedures and guidelines, TEQSA, AQF and the Higher Education Standards Framework
- Undertake a range of projects including annual course reviews, in accordance with the University, Faculty and Schools strategic priorities ensuring accurate and sustainable management of governance structures
- Research and monitor University and Higher Education sector governance issues and support team to ensure compliance with relevant legislative requirements
- Undertake the Annual Course Review process for the Faculty of Arts and Education and provide support to the Associate Dean, Teaching and Learning
To be successful, you’ll have:
- A Degree with at least 4 years subsequent relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or
- An equivalent combination or relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Experience in managing relationships with and expectations of a diverse range of stakeholders
- Experience in providing senior administrative support in a busy office environment, in a large, complex organisation governed by policies and procedures
