About this role:
The Project Manager is responsible for managing various projects, including but not limited to driving new executive initiatives and projects, and business improvement to space planning and governance. Working closely with the Director, Faculty Services and the Faculty Executive Dean, you’ll build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure projects are delivered efficiently, effectively, and on time. You’ll also support the rollout of broader divisional and university initiatives while managing the full scope of each project in line with established processes and procedures.
As a Project Manager, you will:
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and deliver high-value, customer-focused outcomes.
- Lead, scope and manage complex projects with competing deadlines, including triaging ad hoc requests for the Faculty Executive.
- Oversee faculty risk and compliance frameworks, ensuring effective accountability and timely action.
- Coordinate the rollout of divisional and university initiatives, using data, systems and insights to inform strategic decisions and inclusive solutions.
- Foster collaboration across the university, establishing effective processes, driving continuous improvement, and promoting teamwork to achieve high-quality outcomes.
- Oversee Executive strategy and internal communication.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Postgraduate qualifications (or progress toward them) and extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent mix of experience and education/training.
- Strong experience in project coordination and management.
- Proven ability to work with high levels of protocol, detail, and professionalism.
- Demonstrated success delivering or coordinating a wide range of quality activities or projects.
- Experience working within a large, complex organisation.
