About the Role
As an exercise physiologist, you will be responsible for the assessment of patients, prescription of exercises and supervising patient exercise programs. You will be working across day rehabilitation and outpatient settings with a wide range of patients including orthopaedic, neurological, cardiac, pulmonary, oncology, chronic pain and reconditioning.
- Deliver therapy in individualised, group and hydrotherapy settings
- Work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Essential Skills and Experience
- Degree in Exercise Physiology (or equivalent)
- Current Accreditation with ESSA
- Registration with SIRA (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience working as an Exercise Physiologist
- Completion of the NDIS ‘Quality, Safety & You’ e-learning module
- Must hold a valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (NDISWC)
- Current NDIS Workers Check
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High standard of customer service and a team approach
- Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence based practice
- Understanding of quality improvement principles
- Flexible, positive approach to work
- Experience working in a hospital or rehabilitation setting (desirable)
- Available to work in school holidays (desirable)

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
