About You

The successful candidate will be a friendly, passionate administrator with excellent communication skills to be able to lead a fast-paced and dynamic team.

In addition, you will hold the following skills and experience:

  • Previous practice management experience in the health care industry
  • Leadership, planning and change management skills
  • Problem-solve in a constructive, cooperative and motivating manner
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Demonstrate ability to complete reporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner
  • Proven ability to maintain the strictest confidentiality
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and Medicare & private health funds billing.

 

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience managing a psychiatrist practice
  • Previous experience with Patient Management Systems (Meditech, Blue Chip, Medical Director, Medical Objects etc.)
  • Training / qualifications in office administration appropriate for a Senior Administration management position.

 

Your Responsibilities

The Consulting Suites Practice Manager will be responsible for the overall operations, development and success of our Ramsay Clinic New Farm Consulting Suites. This will include, but is not limited to:

  • Managing the efficient and effective operation of our comprehensive customer focused administration service. Ensuring clients have a positive experience with our practice from their very first phone call
  • Ensuring patient appointments, medical records, and accounts are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Supervising the management of all incoming referrals as per required timeframes
  • End of month financial reporting, invoicing, and accounts management
  • Other general administrative functions as required

 

Remuneration: A base salary plus super will be provided based on skills and experience.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • Depending on the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
