Theatre Floor Manager (Job Share)

An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and experienced clinical nurse to join our friendly and supportive Perioperative Team.

About the Role

Hillcrest Rockhampton Private Hospital has an exciting opportunity in our Perioperative Team for a part-time Theatre Floor Manager.  This is a shared role working 32hrs/fortnight.   Additional hours are available as a Clinic Nurse role with experience in either general scout, scrub nursing, PACU or Anaesthetics.  

The successful candidates will participate in a rotating Monday – Friday roster, including on-call components.

With four operating theatres, specialising in Orthopaedics (Robotics), Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Urology and Gynaecology, our team prides itself on exceeding Ramsay’s high standard of care and we have established an excellent reputation in the Central Queensland region for our high commitment to customer service and staff satisfaction. 

 

 

About You

This position would be ideally suited to someone who:

  • Has a minimum 5 years’ experience in Perioperative Nursing
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and manage customer focused teams
  • Ability to provide operational and clinical expertise to monitor and drive successful outcomes
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a broad array of stakeholders
  • Proven high level communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to apply quality improvement and organisational change
  • Graduate Certificate/Diploma in Perioperative Nursing (desirable)

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
